Nice new prespective. :) (Since I'm used to the original scan, though I have to admit, I didn't really understand the angle of the original scan either. :P)

Totally don't mean to be rude or anything, but who said that I didn't understand the angle of the original scan? I thought I did quite well representing the scan. I even drew in the rest of her arm and I just vectored her all over again.

And the vector is beautiful, really nicely done.

From my understanding during my whole entire research on making this wallpaper, it is an alphabet used during the celtic times. It is called the ring of ogam and with the ring of ogam, it has all the alphabet and it was believed to hold special powers. I really didn't take into further consideration researching up on what each invidividual letters mean. I just saw this symbol and just did it because it was featured in the anime the most.

Anyway, the creators really didn't take into consideration researching what everything means, as well because in the anime it is just to boost up the witch's power.

But if I were you, I'd emphisize the candle light source. (from my point of view it looked more like a cup of tea)
You can make it glow a bit more and use a much darker shadow for example.

Hmm... never heard of it looking like a cup of tea.

As for adding the glare, I already have said it plenty of times that there is suppose to be another light source. The candle is just to symbolize or represent something in the anime. It is no way suppose to be the main light source. So, hence there wouldn't be much of a glare because there is suppose to be a light source elsewhere. I laid this all out on my floor and everything. And looked at it for hours to make sure what I was doing was right. I will not put in the glare. I already put it in there, but I won't enhanced it anymore. If you can't see it, then you might want to change something in your resolution and stuff. It shows it perfectly fine in my computer.
